From July 9th to August 13th, 2019, the June 4th Museum held the "Mourning the Second Anniversary of Liu Xiaobo's Death" themed exhibition. The exhibition featured the writings of Liu Xiaobo and related books, as well as poems by artist Liu Xia, his widow. By doing so, the exhibition helped the public to understand Liu Xiaobo's political ideas, the overall context of his thinking, and his actions and contributions.
