On the 25th anniversary of the June 4th massacre, the June 4th Museum chose to hold 2014's first themed exhibition: "June 4th, 25 Years On". The exhibition showed how people's stances and attitudes toward the June 4th massacre had changed from 1989 to 2014. The exhibition took excerpts from people representing a wide variety of identities and a variety of different locations on the political spectrum — from Chinese Communist Party leaders and Hong Kong pro-establishment representatives, to democracy movement activists and the Tian'anmen Mothers.
