From April 30th to June 15th, 2017, the Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements of China (the Alliance) and the Center for Community Cultural Development held the June 4th Museum themed exhibition "What the ? is June 4th to Me?" at the Jockey Club Creative Arts Center. The exhibition featured a fortune-telling experience (stand up to the tanks or not? hunger strike or not? evacuate or not?); a time-line of the 1989 democracy movement; documentary videos; a living library; a music workshop; playback theater; and more. During the period the exhibition was open, more than 4000 people visited it.
六四抗爭中來自香港的聲援和捐贈，鎮壓之後的「黃雀行動」逃生通道，以及持續30年風雨不改的維園燭光集會，讓香港恍若黑暗天空中的一道閃電，給抗爭者帶來力量和希望。同時，香港的參與、救助和持續兩代人的紀念，本身也稱為獨立的抗爭運動，經歷了從發起、傳承到打壓的過程，並與香港本地的民主運動，逐漸同呼吸共命運。本館兩條敘事線：援救六四與自我抗爭。援救即是抗爭，抗爭才能援救。
